Tina Dominguez


Councilor Tina Dominguez was elected to her first term in office in March, 2014.  She is a lifelong resident of the Town of Bernalillo. She is a graduate of Bernalillo High School.  She learned the value of hard work and strong family values from her parents Seferino and Connie Montoya.

She is proud to say she has 28 years of experience in Municipal Government.  She got her start with the Town of Bernalillo, moved onto the Village of Corrales, and then to the City of Santa Fe.  During her employment she was an active member of the New Mexico Municipal League where she held several leadership positions; she became a Certified Municipal Clerk; and was Past President of the Municipal Clerks and Finance Officers Association.

She is very involved in her church community.   She is a registered member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, where she has taught Confirmation Class and is currently a Youth Minister of the High School Youth Group.  She is also Mayordomo of the Santuario de San Lorenzo.

Councilor Dominguez is a proud mother of two sons and five grandchildren.
