Pasos Ajenos: Social Justice and Inequalities in the Borderlands

Pasos Ajenos, open from the end of January until mid-June 2022, is a traveling exhibit built by a team from Las Cruces: scholars Dulcinea Lara and Nicholas Natividad (New Mexico State University) and exhibit developer and artist, Daniel Aguilera. The exhibit invites visitors to explore, for example, the history of agricultural labor in the state, a timeline of the events and policies that influenced the creation of the Mexico-US border. Visitors can also examine the different kinds of migrants and the push/pull factors that impact migration.  The exhibit is Spanish-English bilingual.
