Bernalillo is an At-Risk Community. Why? We have a high elderly population and high youth population. We also have many people from surrounding communities who shop in Bernalillo - not just residents. This means more exposure to all in our community.
What About Events? Currently, all events that would violate the public health order have been postponed until further notice.
What About Fiestas de San Lorenzo? There will be NO PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT AT ALL. There will be no processions through Bernalillo & no music/entertainment at Rotary Park. You can participate from the safety of your home through live-streaming on Facebook & YouTube.
What About Mountain West Brew Fest? The Mountain West Brew Fest has been postponed till 2021. See you then!
What about Camp Coronado Summer Recreation? The Town has woefully decided to cancel the Camp Coronado Summer Recreation Program for 2020. For information about getting a refund, please contact Jason Soto - Recreation Director - for more info at 505-238-0689.
What is Closed to the Public? Recreation Center, Baseball/Softball Fields, Playground equipment at all Town Parks, town operational facilities
GUESTS WHO DO NOT ADHERE TO THE NM PUBLIC HEALTH ORDERS - INCLUDING SOCIAL DISTANCING PRACTICES AND PROPER USE OF MASKS - CAN AND WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE TOWN PREMISES IMMEDIATELY.
MOVING FORWARD: WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT
NO MASK means NO SERVICE! The Town is adopting a strict policy that no individuals who wish to come into Town Hall will be allowed to stay if they are not wearing an adequate face covering and to be worn properly. Wearing a face covering in public is a required directive put forth by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham.
Appointments Only! Any individuals who wish to conduct business at Town Hall must do so by appointments only. Only the individual involved in the transaction will be permitted into the building.
