Important Information Regarding Your Drinking Water
In an effort to keep our consumers informed on the quality of their drinking water, public notifications, reports and other information will be posted on this site on a regular basis. On Monday, November 8, 2010 the Bernalillo Town Council approved the final investigations report on municipal water wells #3 & #4 for submittal to the State of New Mexico Environment Department, Drinking Water Bureau recommending the use of ferric chloride as an arsenic removal process in the drinking water system.

IMPORTANT CUTOFF INFORMATION
The Town of Bernalillo Water Utility has begun collections on delinquent accounts. Notices have been mailed to all past due accounts. The Town has initiated an amnesty program which will allow customers to sign a payment contract for past due amounts. This program will last until October 1, 2010. In the event of non-payment, water service may be disconnected. A $25 reconnect fee and full past due balance will be required for service to be restored.
