About Human Resources
The Human Resources Office handles all aspects of recruiting and hiring of new employees. It is responsible for posting descriptions of all vacant positions, receiveing applications and resumes, and forwarding applicant information to the hiring department in which the vacancy exists. The hiring department then completes their selection process.
Classification and compensation of positions is an on-going process handled by the Human Resources Office.Employee relations is a key component of HR, as well as assisting applicants, employees, supervisors and managers.
How To Apply
All applicants seeking employment with the Town of Bernalillo are required to complete a Town application form, and in some cases submit a resume with references. Applications may be obtained in person from Town Hall, located at 825 Camino Del Pueblo.
Applicants are encouraged to check the Web site regularly for vacancies. Vacancies are also posted on a bulletin board on the second floor of Town Hall when positions become available. The average time for postings (i.e., the amount of time a vacancy is posted) is typically two weeks, although it may be more or less dependent on the type of position.
